1Who we are

Qelvori is made by Farouk Hoblos ("we", "us"). The first time you open Qelvori, it asks you to agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy; by agreeing, or by downloading or using Qelvori, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Questions: Byteweave@gmail.com.

2Using Qelvori

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Qelvori on computers and phones you own or control, including the iPhone app you add to your Home Screen from qelv-app.netlify.app. You may not resell it, remove its notices, or try to bypass its license checks. The free version has no time limit.

You need to be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law requires) to use Qelvori, and old enough to make a purchase where you live to buy Plus.

Only add information you're entitled to use: your own accounts and cards, and Google accounts you own or are allowed to link. Qelvori can save a card's number for your reference, but it isn't a payment tool and cannot make payments.

3Your data and security

Your data stays on your computer, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your computer, your PIN and your backups. Because we never receive your data, we can't recover it for you: if you forget your PIN, the only way back in is to start over, which erases the data on that computer. Backup files you save are not encrypted; keep them somewhere safe. On iPhone, removing Qelvori from your Home Screen deletes its data on that iPhone, so turn on Sync or keep a backup.

4Qelvori Plus

Plus unlocks the features listed in the app: smart budgeting, more than one account, credit cards, statement import, bank and wallet alerts, linked Google accounts, categorisation rules, automatic detection and syncing your devices through your own Google Drive. The demo workspace shows every Plus feature with sample data. Plus is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription at the price shown at checkout.

Free trial: when you first use Qelvori without Plus, it turns Plus on for 14 days at no cost, once per person; if a payday you entered falls within the 10 days after the 14th day, the trial runs until the day after that payday. It asks for no payment details and charges nothing; when the trial ends, Qelvori goes back to the free version. Qelvori doesn't keep data from your inbox without Plus: if you don't get Plus within 15 days after the trial, or within 15 days after a paid Plus plan or Plus code ends, Qelvori removes the Google accounts you linked (and ends its access to them) and what came into the app on its own: what it found in your receipts, imported statements, bank or wallet alerts, and the cards those alerts added (unless you typed something in on them). What you typed in yourself or added with Ask stays, and every account keeps the balance it shows. This happens on your device; until then you can export your bills and subscriptions to a spreadsheet or save a full backup, and linking a Google account again with Plus reads your receipts again. The trial is once per person: it doesn't start again on another device that syncs with yours, when you restore a backup or start over, or after reinstalling and linking the same Google account.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase, and prices include any sales tax or VAT Paddle must charge where you live.

In the Microsoft Store version, Plus bought inside the app is sold by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store instead: the Microsoft Store's terms apply to that purchase, Microsoft takes the payment and handles sales tax or VAT, you cancel it in your Microsoft account, and refunds follow the Microsoft Store's refund policy (ask Microsoft from your account's order history; you can also write to us and we'll help). What happens when Plus ends is the same as below.

After you buy, you receive a license key. It is for you alone: please don't share or publish it. Open it in Qelvori from the purchase page, or enter it under Settings → Plan.

5Renewals and cancelling

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You'll be charged the price you agreed to unless we've told you about a change in advance.
• You can cancel any time from the link in your Paddle receipt or by writing to us. Plus keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and then Qelvori returns to the free version. Your data stays as it is, and a smart budgeting plan is kept for when you come back.
• While your subscription is active, Qelvori renews your license key automatically when it's online (see section 5 of the Privacy Policy). If it can't, you can also paste a new key from your account email.

6Refund policy

If Qelvori Plus isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of any payment and you'll get that payment back in full — no questions asked. Write to Byteweave@gmail.com or reply to your Paddle receipt. Refunds go back to the original payment method, handled by Paddle. After a refund, Plus stops when the refunded period would have ended, or straight away if you ask.

This doesn't limit any other right to a refund you have under the law where you live.

7Not financial advice

Qelvori is a planning tool. Its balances, forecasts, safe-to-spend amounts, budgets, smart budgeting plans and suggestions, insights, automatically detected bills and subscriptions, loan schedules, net worth and exchange rates (built-in reference rates, or ones you enter) are estimates based on what you enter and on simple assumptions; they can be wrong or out of date. Transactions read from statements, alerts or emails can be misread. Qelvori does not give financial, tax or legal advice. Check important figures with your bank and make your own decisions.

8Other services

If you link a Google account, sync through Google Drive, add a card from your browser, get the iPhone app's notifications (delivered by Apple), or use your bank's statements or alerts, those services' own terms apply to them. We aren't responsible for their availability or for the accuracy of what they send.

9Updates

We may update Qelvori to fix problems, improve it or keep it secure. The app checks this website for a new version, downloads it, and installs it when you restart (the iPhone app checks its own address, and asks you to restart into the new version). We may add, change or remove features; if we remove a Plus feature you've paid for, you can ask for a refund of the unused part of your subscription.

10Warranty and liability

We work hard to make Qelvori reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost data or money, or for decisions made using Qelvori's figures, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Qelvori in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

11Ending

You can stop using Qelvori at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your Plus subscription if you break these terms (for example by sharing your license key publicly); we'll tell you why.

12Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date, and Qelvori will ask you to agree again the next time it opens. Changes that affect a paid subscription apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. If you don't agree to new terms, you can stop using Qelvori and ask for a refund of the unused part of your subscription.

13Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without taking away any protection you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.

Ask Qelvori

Ask Qelvori works out its answers on your device from what you've entered, so they are only as accurate as your own figures. Its optional language model also runs on your device: your questions are never sent anywhere. Answers marked as general are information, not financial, tax or legal advice. Anything Ask changes for you (your balance, a new savings goal) happens only when you tap the button to do it.

Help

Answers in Help come from an AI assistant that knows the app. It can be wrong, and it doesn't give financial, tax or legal advice. When it passes your message to us, a person reads it and replies. Please don't share card numbers, passwords or your PIN in Help.
